David Marshall ブル一本質のアシュトレイ – スペイン、1970年代
David Marshall のストライキングなブルタリスト彫刻風アシュトレイ／ボウル。スペインで手作業により、砂型を用いたアルミニウムと真鍮で製作。重厚で有機的・不規則な形状と、磨かれた銀色と金色の表面の対照が、Marshall の作品を極めて特徴づける。前面には David Marshall の型刻印がはっきりと見える。
大型のアシュトレイは研磨とワックス仕上げが施されており、アルミニウムと真鍮の劇的な対比を際立たせつつ、手作りの風合いを preserving（そのまま保持）している。1970年代スペイン・ブルタリストデザインの、重厚で触覚的な典型例。
