ジェンビーア型の本格的な伝統ダガー、イエメンまたはアラビア半島起源とされ、おそらく20世紀前半の品です。
刃は鋼製で、中心に明確な脊を持つ、両刃の特徴的な曲線形状をしています。基部には製作印の痕跡が残っていますが、経年と局所的な酸化の痕跡のため、現在は読み取りが難しいです。
硬木の柄は、イエメン/サナア風の« T »型に広がる形状で、金メタル製の円形メダリオン二つを飾り、同心円のモチーフを細かく刻んでいます。地元の装飾伝統に従い、古銭を再利用した可能性があり、この種の品にはよく見られる再利用です。
鞘は皮革製で、銀色の金属板が透かし彫りと真珠様の装飾を施して終わっており、いくつかの欠落はあるものの美しい趣を見せます（留め具部の欠損あり）。
一式には伝統的なヒザム（腰帯）が付属します。黒地に金属糸の金・銀で手織りされた布地で、アラビア刺繍特有の渦巻模様があしらわれ、金属製の留め金ベルトで閉じられます。
本物の民族学的標本で、イスラム美術・古武器・アラビア／イエメンの工芸品コレクターに理想的です。
