Description:
Original mid-to-late 20th-century American circus poster advertising the Carson & Barnes Circus ("Biggest Big Top on Earth").
The vibrant layout features artwork signed by artist G. Daseppo, depicting a grinning whiteface clown alongside a performing Asian elephant set against the backdrop of the iconic striped circus tent. This lot comes complete with its original, separate local venue date tail pasted at the bottom, promoting a 5-ring performance at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds in Terre Haute (Indiana), sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 291 on Monday, September 21st.
