A very fine incense tray kobon depicting cranes amidst a rising sun, made in Japan from wood with lacquer and gold, dating to the first half of the 20th century, with an inscribed tomobako and a size of 34.8 × 23 × 1.6 cm, in good condition with minor signs of wear.
