大粒のヘマトイド水晶ジオド・エッグ – 磨き上げられた水晶と自然の晶洞を組み合わせた卵形の彫刻
滑らかな外観と大きな自然晶洞を組み合わせた、エレガントな卵型彫刻へと彫り出された、印象的なヘマトイド水晶ジオド。外装は滑らかに磨かれ、内部には大きな天然の晶洞を抱えています。
標本は透明感のあるクリア、乳白色、シャンパン色、淡いピーチ、ほのかなラベンダーのトーンを洗練されたパレットで見せ、暖かい赤褐色の鉄酸化物の含有がアクセントとなり、天然の色の変化が水晶に深みを生み出しています。直射光の下で特に魅力的に映ります。
開口部には密な水晶結晶の形成が密集しており、数多くの反射する終端が明るく輝く表面を作り出します。高度に磨かれた外装と未加工の結晶内部との対比が、この作品に特に彫刻的で洗練された趣を与えています。
丸みを帯びた卵形は水晶の自然な透明感を強調しつつ、原始的な晶洞の大部分を保持します。異なる角度から見ると、滑らかな半透明の表面と内部の鉱物含有、そして豊かな質感の結晶形成が交互に現れます。
鉱物学的には、ヘマトイド水晶は鉄酸化物含有の水晶（SiO₂）であり、しばしば赤鉄鉱やそれに関連する鉄鉱物を含み、その特徴的な赤みがかったオレンジがかったゴールドの色調を生み出します。
