Emperor Kangxi (1654–1722) was the longest-reigning emperor in the history of the Qing Dynasty and laid the foundation for the dynasty's greatest glory. This is a rare underglaze polychrome jar from the Qing Dynasty. The base color is black ink, with lions painted in bronze on the body. The workmanship is exquisite, the proportions perfect, and the shape grand and elegant. This lion-patterned jar is extremely valuable.
