Sphaerechinus granularis – Large Sea Urchin Test
Sphaerechinus granularis の大型ウニ殻は、鮮やかな自然色、はっきりとした対称性、そして豊かな質感が特徴の、印象的な標本です。
この例は特に魅力的な赤みがかったオレンジとクリーム色の放射状帯を示し、殻全体に高度に規則的な模様を成しています。小さな丸い結節が密集して列をなし、全表面に細かな粒状の質感を作り出し、種特有の五放射相を強調します。
殻は丸みを帯びた完全な輪郭を保ち、彫刻的な存在感が強いです。その暖かな自然色は、深紅や焦げ茶色を経て淡いクリーム色へと幅があり、微妙な暗色部が更なる深みと個性を与えています。
