上部オーハテリヴィアン期のバレアレス帯産の棘状の異型アンモナイト、Crioceratites majoricensis の珍品。
完全に膨らんだ三次元の殻と美しく保存された棘を備えた、驚くべき良好な標本です。
この博物館品質の Crioceratites 標本は、著名な化石処理者・収集家である Donna Fossils により発見され、整備されました。岩床から化石の三次元的側面を露出させ、その繊細な棘を慎重に復元するには、長い時間と丹念な作業が必要でした。
棘は化石化することが稀で、非常に難しく、また生前にすり減ったりした可能性が高いことに留意してください。 この標本では、生体時にどのように見えたかを示すため、化石を整備する際に棘を復元しています。
復元ノート: 棘は100%復元され、元の解剖学的位置に接着されています。
このアンモノサイトは棘の端から端まで8.5 cm。基質の高さは12 cmです。
あらゆる角度から素晴らしく見え、家庭・オフィス・博物館の展示に素晴らしい展示物となるでしょう。

My name is Larisa. I represent DonnaFossils also known as “Spiny Ammonites”. I have been passionate about fossils since I was a child.
I’ve been working and I’m still working with DonFossils Paleontology Lab for 7 years which is my partner of my life too.
My strengths are perfectionism, perseverance and creativity, hence my ability to work and prepare these fossils as authentic, unique and aesthetic as possible. The pieces with which I triumphed and which I boast the most are spiny ammonites. Most of them are hunted by me and Don.
As our company has grown during these years, we also offer now a variaty of high-quality selections and museum fossils from all around the world. We buy them unprepared and we do the clearance work in our own laboratory by implementing the best technique suited to each specimen.
