漁師と戦神・関羽 - 硬木 - China - Early 20th century

Two carved hardwood figures from early 20th century China, provenance Privécollectie, both authentic originals; the first titled visserman en krijgsgod Guan Yu shows a fisherman with a large fish on his back (30 cm high), the second depicts a Chinese warrior resembling Guan Yu in traditional armour with glass eyes (45 cm high).
