美しい古い北アフリカの儀式用ニムシャ・ダガー。アルジェリア産、アルジェ周辺の地域の可能性があり、20世紀の作。
剣は、彫刻が施された装飾の強く湾曲した片刃鋼刃と、先端が上向きに巻き上がった特徴的な鉄の保持棒を備える。木製柄は、細い金属糸の象嵌、渦巻き状の金属装飾、赤い装飾インレイで豊かに飾られている。
付属の曲がった木製鞘とともに、こちらも豊富な装飾。鞘の裏面は、同様の類例では一般的に控えめに作られている。
このタイプは儀式用またはプレゼンテーション用として身に着けられ、文献と取引ではアルジェリア語名だけでなく、より一般的なマグレブ諸語の nimcha 呼称でも現れる。
