The Synは1965年から1967年まで活動した英国のバンドで、2004年にはプログレッシブ・ロック・バンドとして再結成した。バンドはR&Bのカバーから離れ、ジャックマンとナーデリのリードのもとで自作曲の制作を始めた。周囲で進行していた音楽の変化を反映して、サイケデリック・ミュージックの影響を強めていく。1967年にはCreated by Clive（b/w Grounded）と Flowerman（b/w 14 Hour Technicolour Dream）という2枚のシングルを発表した。音楽ジャーナリストのフィル・スミーは、Synの「Grounded」を彼のトップ50のフリークビート曲に挙げており、英国のビートとリズム・アンド・ブルースからサイケデリアへの転換期における激しく raw な音楽を指す回顧的レーベルとして位置づけている。

Seller's Story
My name is Hans Kesteloo and I finally decided to sell my ‘remaining’ collection of 45’s, LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, laserdiscs and other odd things after more than 60 years of ‘hardcore’ collecting. I purchased my first 45 in 1965, and this was the beginning of an enjoyable, long-time hobby – a real-time “collector’s career”. Now time has come to pass the baton !
