iconic and 100% authentic piece of 1980s postmodern design: the famous "Pencil" bookcase designed by the French designer Pierre Sala for the Clairefontaine collection. Heavily inspired by the playful aesthetics of the Memphis Milano movement, this cheerful cabinet features structural support pillars shaped like oversized colored crayons, complete with the characteristic pink "eraser" feet at the bottom.
The bookcase features three vibrant tiers in primary colors supported by the pencils. A true eye-catcher that brings a pop of color, humor, and nostalgia to any modern interior, design collection, or children's room.
