古代ビルマのランナ文化に属する、16世紀〜17世紀の象の騎手をかたどった釉薬陶器の置物（護符）です。
良好な状態です。清掃済みですが、趣のあるアンティークな風合いは保たれています。オリジナルで古代の手作業による、素晴らしい職人技の作品です。表面には使用と年齢の痕跡があります。
1990年代半ば、ミャンマー・マンダレーの現地アート市場でゼルニク博士によって購入されました。
