droneを使わずにイタリア・ソレントの断崖から捕らえられた作品。水上で適切な泳者・ジェスチャー・ボードが現れるのを待つ時間が積み重なって生まれた。これらの要素が海を通る曲がりくねったラインとなり、地中海のレジャーを普通の情景として捉えつつ、ほとんど振付けられたような質感を与える。

ARTISTについて

エレナ・パラスケヴァの作品は、機関・企業コレクションに所蔵されています。スウェーデン公共美術部門（ Västra Götaland Government）、米国ボストン病院（子どものがんウィング正面の500 cm級インスタレーション）、オーストラリア国立大学、Thalassa Museum、Affinity（Serif）、その他の機関・企業コレクションなど。

彼女の作品は、欧州議会（ブリュッセル）をはじめ、ニューヨーク、パリ、東京、ロンドン、ドバイ、サンパウロ、ウィーン、バルセロナ、ミュンヘン、クアラルンプール、フィレンツェ、フランクフルト、マラガ、リンツ、グラーツ、シエナなどの主要ビエンナーレ・ギャラリーで展示されています。
2026年には、最も影響力のある現代写真家の一人として広く評価されている Magnum の写真家アレック・ソスが、ギリシャ文化省の後援のもと、ギリシャでの個展のために彼女の作品を個人的に選定しました。

彼女は、四つの異なる国際写真協会によって、International Photographer of the Year（2024/2023/2021/2018）に選出されています。

また、ハッセルブラッド・マスター、世界のマスター・オブ・フォトグラフィー、LensCulture、Aesthetica、Prix de la Photographie Paris、International Photography Awards（IPA）、Neutral Density Awards など、国際的な評価と主要賞を多数受賞しています。

2021年以降、FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS の審査員として、毎年複数の国際写真コンペティションの審査を務めています。過去にはAdobeの講師・アンバサダーも務めました。
