ベルーチスタン、パキスタン産のフローライトとCalciteの美しい標本で、特に二つの鉱物の組み合わせとUV光に対する強い反応が興味深いものです。
Calciteは淡色の豊かな結晶化を形成し、大小さまざまな形の結晶が標本の大部分を覆っています。その中にFluoriteの結晶が浮かび上がり、立方体の形態でやや濃い色をしており、Calciteと対照的に美しいコントラストを作り出しています。
特にFluoriteの蛍光は非常に美しく、結晶上で強く局所化しています。特集写真には通常の室内光下でもUVランプの反応が示され、写真用フィルターを使わず撮影されています。
自然光でもUV照明時でも非常に印象的な、サイズは控えめながらも華やかな標本です。
