ベテルノット用カッター（カシップ）、鉄鋳造の風化仕上げ、上部がくり抜かれ彫り込まれたデザインにはスタイライズドな幻獣（ナーガ／マカラ）を描く。刃と枝には繊細な彫刻模様が施され、対照的な金属嵌入が施されている。筒状に絞られた二重の柄。使い込まれた美しい暗色の風合い。プレキシガラス製の専用展示台とともに販売。

Coupe-bétel (Kacip) en fer forgé incrusté à figure mythologique – Asie du Sud-Est (XVIIIe / XIXe siècle)

Description :
Coupe-noix de bétel (kacip) en fer forgé patiné, la partie supérieure découpée et ciselée figurant une créature fantastique stylisée (Naga / Makara). La lame et les branches sont rehaussées de délicats motifs gravés et incrustés de métal contrastant. Modèle à double manche fuselé cylindrique. Belle patine sombre d'usage. Vendu avec son socle de présentation sur mesure en plexiglas.

Oxydation naturelle et patine du fer cohérentes avec l'âge.

Légères usures de surface du décor incrusté.
