The Olympus mju: (known as the Stylus outside Japan) is the camera that made clamshell compacts desirable. Its sliding cover switches the camera on and protects the lens, the body is splash-proof, and the sharp 35mm F3.5 lens has given the series a lasting reputation among film shooters. This Panorama version adds a switch that masks the frame to a letterbox format mid-roll. It weighs almost nothing and slips into a coat pocket, which is exactly why these have become sought after again.
