Carved oak angel statue, about 48 cm high, originating from France and dating to the late 16th–early 17th century, unsigned and in reasonable condition with original polychromy largely preserved, depicting a kneeling angel that once held a candlestick and now shows damage including the loss of both wings, the candlestick, and a hand.
