Rare complete set of four “Four Seasons” angels by Peter Strang for Meissen, produced exclusively for the Japanese market.

Offered here is a complete set representing Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, created by renowned Meissen artist Peter Strang.

The four figures were made as a Japanese-market exclusive, making them particularly difficult to encounter outside Japan, especially as a complete set.

Each figure is individually hand-formed (Te-hineri) and displays the expressive modelling, lively movement and playful character for which Peter Strang’s work is highly regarded.

Every figure bears the “PS” monogram, identifying the work of Peter Strang.

The four seasons are individually represented through their flowers, fruits, grapes and winter motifs, while retaining a harmonious appearance when displayed together.
