• French Transcription: Je viens de voir le cirque Buffalo Bill à Chalon-sur-Saône et de voir un monsieur tatoué un peu de la tête aux pieds, un beau travail de mains.
• English Translation: "I have just seen Buffalo Bill's circus in Chalon-sur-Saône and saw a gentleman who is tattooed almost from head to toe—a beautiful work by hand.
• An extraordinary and rare original 1905 photographic pitch postcard depicting Frank Marwood, the famous "Tattooed Man" who toured with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show during its iconic 1905 European tour across France.
• Subject: Frank Marwood showing full-body, late Victorian/early Edwardian ink work.
• Postmark / Date: 1905 (Franchised with two 5c French Republic postage stamps).
