The artistic talent and multifaceted nature of Paolo Desario shines with vigor through his works, releasing a vitality that feels almost tangible. His inspiration starts from an inner quest that has ancient and primordial echoes, as suggested by the sinuously drawn female torsos and the winged figures. He manages to fuse reality and transcendence through ever-new insights, knowing how to perform an original synthesis between the individual penchant for the essential form and the most attentive contemporary plastic research.

Sculptor and painter, Paolo Desario was born in Barletta, Apulia, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari in the sculpture school of Amerigo Tot. He lives and works in Barletta, and has taught Plastic Disciplines at the State Artistic High School "Sacro Cuore" of Cerignola and at the Corato Artistic High School. He boasts a nearly 50-year artistic career devoted to sculpture and painting, participating in numerous national and international solo and group exhibitions.
