ローマン 東地中海赤釉陶器のオルペ／小壺。ヘレニズム期–初期ローマ期、概ね紀元前1世紀頃–紀元後1世紀。
低い円形の足の上に丸みを帯びた卵形の本体を収めた、均整の取れた小さな陶器容器。短くやや凹んだ首は広く強く反った縁で終わり、上部の胴と首を結ぶ小さなループ状取手が縁の直下に取り付けられている。
器は細い赤褐色の粘土でろくろ成形され、元の赤褐色の滑り釉表面の多くを保っている。縁取りと取手の取り付け部の周囲には暗色の部分が見え、焼成の際の変異が生じた可能性がある。表面には散在する鉱物沈着と表面の被膜が保存されている。
