• 出所：Leiloeira Côrte Real 主催のオークションハウス - ポルトガル、ポルト
— この斧は実際にはむしろ杖に近い。村長、占い師、宮廷に近い者たちが所有しており、コンゴの小型斧のように肩に担ぐのではなく、手に握って用いられた。その木部の見事な彫刻と刃の鋭さは誰の目にもはっきりとわかる。おそらく20世紀初頭の very 初頭、あるいは19世紀末の終わりの時期のものと断定できる。出所は当然良好である。オークションハウスはポルトガルのもので、アンゴラはその植民地の一つだった。私が手にする以前はおそらく一度もポルトガルを離れていなかっただろう。
