Description from the seller
Collectable set of four vintage Japanese Doraemon printed cel sheets, originally issued as colour inserts with volumes of the Fujiko Fujio Land manga collection published in Japan by Chūōkōronsha under its Chuko Comics imprint.
These transparent acetate sheets are generally described as reproduction cels or sericel-type publishing inserts. Each example features a different colourful composition with Doraemon and other principal characters from the celebrated series created by Fujiko F. Fujio.
The original Japanese publisher’s identification remains printed along the lower edge of every sheet.
THE LOT CONTAINS:
Fujiko Fujio Land Vol. 62 – Doraemon 16

Corresponding volume first published: 1985年9月13日。
Fujiko Fujio Land Vol. 66 – Doraemon 17

• Series: Fujiko Fujio Land / Chuko Comics
• Publisher: Chūōkōronsha, Japan
• Quantity: Four reproduction cel sheets
• Period: 1985–1986

• Approximate dimensions: 13 × 18 cm each
• Language: Japanese
• Edition: Publisher-issued manga inserts
• Edition size: Not stated

These cels were distributed with their respective manga volumes rather than offered as a separately numbered fine-art edition. Consequently, no individual edition numbers, limitation statement or declared print run are present.
They are authentic period publishing collectibles, but they must not be confused with original hand-painted production cels used in the making of the Doraemon television animation.
The four cels are offered loose. The original manga volumes are not included.
CONDITION:
Good vintage condition overall, considering their age. The character images retain bright colours, strong outlines and an attractive presentation.
The transparent acetate sheets display visible age-related wear, including some yellowing or clouding, superficial scratches, rubbing, small marks and scattered spotting. More noticeable staining is present on parts of the Vol. 62 example, while dark marks and minor wear can be seen near some of the outer margins. The original perforated margin lines and printed identification text remain present.
No major tears or substantial losses affecting the principal character images are apparent. Reflections and some surface marks are particularly noticeable when the transparent material is photographed under direct light.
Please examine all photographs carefully, as they show the exact four cels included and form an integral part of the condition description.
