Description from the seller
Max Uhlig (1937).
"Sketches of Miles Davis".
Only 40 copies, numbered and hand-signed by the great artist from Dresden.
Size: 57.5 × 76 cm. Handmade heavyweight paper.
It is one of his most sought-after prints.
Intuitive gestural scribble art, characteristic of the artist. Max Uhlig's style is defined as a particular revision of German Expressionism, situated on a fluid border between abstract and representational art.
