A striking 10 piece collection of vintage Wedgwood blue jasperware, beautifully decorated with the iconic white applied reliefs that have made Wedgwood one of the most celebrated names in English ceramics.
This impressive collection combines a variety of decorative forms, including a substantial statement plate, trinket boxes, dishes, trays and an elegant vase. Throughout the collection are finely modelled Neoclassical and mythological scenes, including classical figures, cherubs, chariots, foliage, floral garlands and laurel borders, all dramatically contrasted against the characteristic matte Wedgwood blue ground.

Exceptional Jasperware Decoration
The centrepiece is the magnificent large circular plate, richly decorated with numerous individually applied classical scenes linked by elaborate floral garlands. The remaining pieces continue this classical theme through chariots, cherubs, figures and botanical borders.
The collection displays the wonderful contrast and three dimensional quality associated with traditional Wedgwood jasperware, making the pieces particularly attractive when displayed together.
Authentic Wedgwood
Pieces bear the impressed WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND factory mark. A visible date code includes 78, indicating production around 1978 for that particular piece.
