There are fine scuffs, and the camera remains in very clean condition.

Optics
There is a small mark on the left side inside the viewfinder. It does not affect visibility, and it has no effect on the photographs taken, so you can buy with confidence. There is no fungus or haze in the viewfinder. Under a strong professional light, faint haze can be seen near the centre of the front element, but this has absolutely no effect on the photographs taken.

Function
Fully functional. All operations work properly without any issues.
Film transport has been tested and works correctly. The light seals have been replaced.

Description
The Canon A-1 is the flagship of Canon's A series, released in 1978 as the first camera in the world to offer full programmed automatic exposure alongside shutter priority, aperture priority and manual. Its all-black finish and red-lettered controls made it the look of a generation, and the digital LED display in the viewfinder was unlike anything else at the time. It comes here with the Canon New FD 50mm f/1.4, the fastest of the standard FD lenses.
