Pair of fireplace screens dating to 1850–1900, made of carton bouilli and wood, blackened with cut-out edges and carved handles, featuring a black ground with gold Rocaille/arabesque motifs and central polychrome floral paintings; dimensions 35 cm high, 24 cm wide, 2 cm deep, produced in France, in good condition with minor wear and age spots.
