A very fine Japanese natsume of wood with lacquer and gold, designed by Somata Shinzan (b. 1948), from the Heisei period, featuring sakura and momiji maki-e, signed and including an inscribed tomobako; diameter 7.3 cm, height 7.8 cm, in good used condition with minor signs of wear.
