私は南米・スリナム生まれで、豊かな文化的遺産を内に抱えています：スリナム系、インドネシア系、アフリカ系、オランダ系。オランダで育ち、古いオランダの巨匠たちの遺産に囲まれた地で成長しました — ヘルモートームの地でフェルメールとレンブラントを視界に置くことは決して珍しくありません。
香水ブランドの仕事で一度ヴェネツィアへ行ったことがあります。そこで、バロック美術と建築、そして街の層状の歴史に深く心を動かされました。その体験は私の中に深い何かを呼び覚まし、今日の私の美的ビジョンを形作る長く続くインスピレーションの源となっています。
