中村宗悦（1932年 - ）による華美な金蒔絵の棗。古典的な「田衣袖（誰袖）」デザインで飾られた、 waka の詩に触発された洗練されたモチーフ。香り高い装束が棚に掛かる情景と、今はいない誰かの名残を思わせます。

【作家略歴】
1932年、石川県生まれ。父から伝統漆技法「髹漆」を学ぶ。1967年に中尾宗和の茶道を学び始め、それを機に漆芸を茶道具へと特化。全国漆芸展で Forestry Agency Director-General's Award（1979）、知事賞（1982）、全国漆芸連盟賞（1983）ほか受賞。1987年には茶名「Sokyo」を授与され、1992年には茶道科准教授の地位を得る。
