Large faience vase from Faenza, Italy, dating to the mid-20th century (circa 1930–1950) with a globular body and a hand-painted polychrome decoration depicting a neo-Renaissance scene with male figures in period dress, musicians and an animal in a landscape, enhanced by rich geometric and vegetal borders in blue, yellow, green, orange and brown, a circular foot, and a back inscription reading “FAENZA – ITALY”; condition is good with minor signs of age and stains, height 30 cm, width 36 cm, depth 36 cm, weight 10 g.
