Description:
Vintage Yellow Gold Imperial Topaz Signet Ring – Approx. 9 ct – EU 64
A substantial vintage yellow gold signet ring set with a large cushion-shaped brown-golden topaz weighing approximately 9 carats.
The ring features a broad, masculine signet-style construction with gently textured shoulders and a large rectangular cushion-shaped gemstone occupying most of the upper surface. The stone displays a deep cognac-brown to golden coloration, becoming considerably lighter and more translucent when viewed under stronger illumination.
The gemstone appears consistent with topaz based on its appearance and observed hardness, which appears greater than quartz. Its rich golden-brown coloration is characteristic of material commonly described in the jewellery trade as Imperial or cognac topaz. No laboratory report accompanies the ring, and the gemstone identification should therefore be considered an assessment rather than independent laboratory certification.
The topaz is approximately 9.00 ct and is mounted in a substantial bezel-style setting, giving the ring a strong vintage signet appearance.
Ring size:
Inner diameter: approximately 20.5 mm
EU size: approximately 64
US size: approximately 10¾–11
UK size: approximately V
The ring shows normal surface wear and small marks consistent with age and previous use. The gemstone also displays visible surface characteristics and wear, which can be examined closely in the photographs.
A distinctive vintage gold signet ring combining a large natural-looking brown topaz with a bold, understated design. Particularly suitable as a men's statement ring, collector's jewellery piece or vintage unisex signet ring.
Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
