Origin & Markings:

A beautiful vintage porcelain set manufactured by Edelstein in Bavaria, Germany. The pieces bear two distinct markings: “Edelstein – BAVARIA – Made in Germany” and “PORCELAINE DE LUXE – 2241”. Both markings are also present on the reverse of the matching lids, including the lids of the coffee/tea pot and sugar bowl.

Condition:

Pristine vintage condition and apparently unused old stock (NOS). The porcelain has been exceptionally well preserved, with no visible wear to the delicate hand-painted motifs or the elegant 24k gold-gilded rims.

Design & Craftsmanship:

Extremely delicate and elegant miniature-style classical European design, featuring finely ribbed porcelain bodies, ornate footed cups, and charming botanical decoration with delicate rose/tulip buds and fine stems. The combination of fine porcelain, hand-painted decoration and gilded details gives the set a refined and luxurious appearance.
