宜部釉花瓶（花入れ・Hanaire） 鈴木五郎作 ― 完品木箱付き
国際的に評価の高い陶芸家・鈴木五郎による高身長の円筒花瓶。鮮やかなオビエ緑釉が流れ、凹凸のある縦筋の表面に豊かな質感を帯びて色と質感の力強い対比を生み出しています。銅緑色の深い帯は、未釉の素地の上に流れ、水平の筋目が刻まれたアースカラーのボディと交錯して、苔むした樹皮を思わせる大胆で絵画的な風合いを作り出します。躍動感と自信に満ちた形は、現代日本陶芸の最も個性的で表現力豊かな声のひとつとしての鈴木の評価を物語っています。木箱が付属します。
【作家略歴】
鈴木五郎（1936年生まれ）は愛知県豊田市出身。1961年には日展選抜、朝日陶芸展で知事賞を受賞し、翌1962年には優秀賞、1966年には大賞を受賞。1963年には東アジア陶芸展に出展、1971年には第3回日中陶芸展で奨励賞を受賞しました。海外キャリアとしては、1969–70年に米国で陶芸研修を行いロサンゼルスで個展を開催、1975年には朝日陶芸展75周年賞受賞後にロドアイランド・スクール・オブ・デザインに就任、1982年にはクランブルック美術学院で客員兼任。1998年に米国フランク・ロイド・ギャラリーで個展を開催するなど、日本国内のデパートやギャラリーでも幅広く展覧しています。
