Mashiko の最も国際的に展示されてきた studio potter の一人、オリベ焼の薬味柄の小さくて濃く釉薬をかけた日本酒用徳利です。
石のware で成形され、滝内の得意とするオリベ釉で仕上げられたこの小さな徳利は、 faceted で手彫りされた表面の上を深くまだらな緑が不均一に流れ、縁の辺には暖色の黄土と鉄の色味が抜けて見えます。 不規則なファセットが胴体全体に光を拾い、サイズのわりに強い彫刻的存在感を与えます。滝内の studio work の特徴であり、ビクトリア＆アルバート博物館からパリやデンマークの美術館に至るまで国際的に展示されています。
【作家プロフィール】
高内修悟（1937年生）は、東京出身の studio potter で、1968年に栃木県真岡市の窯を開きました。日本伝統工芸展や日本陶芸展に選出され、ロンドンのヴィクトリア＆アルバート博物館、フランスのヴァローリス国際ビエンナーレ、デンマークやパリの美術館で国際的に展示されています。作品は、東京国立近代美術館をはじめとする日本の主要機関の収蔵品となっています。
