Asteria is a striking figurative work inspired by the mystery and strength of the celestial goddess after whom it is named. A deep cobalt-blue figure emerges against a soft, luminous background, her poised posture conveying quiet confidence and timeless elegance.

About the artist

Sonia Anton is a Romanian-Australian contemporary artist whose work explores femininity, emotion and the beauty of the human form. Raised in the South of France within her mother’s atelier, she developed an early connection to colour and creative expression. Her experiences living across Europe, Australia and Mexico continue to influence her distinctive visual language. Her artworks are held in private collections throughout Europe and internationally.
