Skepaは1978年生まれのフランス人アーティストで、画家・彫刻家。BAFO運動の共同創設者。リヨン国立高等美術学校を卒業し、1990年代初頭にはJone Hopperと共にグラフィティから創作を始めた。
彼の作風は自由で本能的なアプローチをとり、都市文化と現代的な造形探究に支えられている。長い年月の中で絵画はより荒々しく力強い筆致へと進化し、抽象と自由表現、そしてジェスチャーのエネルギーを融合している。
独自の、すぐに識別できる世界観で知られるSkepaは、力強く躍動感に満ちた作品を展開し、国際美術市場で定期的に紹介されている。

Skepa est un artiste français né en 1978, peintre et sculpteur, cofondateur du mouvement BAFO. Diplômé de à l’École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, il débute sa pratique artistique par le graffiti avec Jone Hopper au début des années 1990.
Son travail s’inscrit dans une approche libre et instinctive, nourrie par la culture urbaine et une recherche plastique contemporaine. Au fil des années, sa peinture évolue vers une écriture plus brute et expressive, mêlant abstraction, figuration libre et énergie du geste.
Reconnu pour un univers singulier et immédiatement identifiable, Skepa développe une œuvre puissante et vibrante, régulièrement présentée sur le marché international de l’art.
