This is an impressive bronze vase bearing the "大明宣徳" (Dai Ming Xuande) mark on the underside. It is believed to date from approximately the late Edo to Meiji period and beautifully reflects the admiration that Japanese craftsmen held for classical Chinese bronze artistry.
