目を引くデザインは、テクスチャ付きの黄金色の地に立体的に再現された緑のくるみの葉と、小さなピンクの花を組み合わせています。特に特徴的なのは、茶と黄褐色のトーンで編み込まれたリリーフ状の網目模様を持つ、装飾的で複雑な縁取りです。
裏面には円形の浮き彫り風の製造マーク、形/番号281、そしてもう1つの小さな押印が刻まれています。

Villeroy & Boch Schramberg – Majolica Chestnut Leaf Plate – Model 281 – c. 1890
Decorative antique majolica plate by Villeroy & Boch, Schramberg factory, dating from the late 19th century.
The striking design features highly modelled green chestnut leaves on a textured golden-yellow ground, accompanied by small pink flowers. The most distinctive feature is the elaborate moulded border with an interlaced basket-weave appearance in brown and ochre tones.
The reverse bears a circular impressed factory mark, the model/form number 281, and an additional small impressed mark.

Condition:
Very well preserved considering its age. No chips present. The colours, glaze and raised relief decoration remain in good condition. No obvious hairline cracks are visible. Only minor age-related or manufacturing irregularities and light signs of use are present.
