Very rare Lucania, Metapontion AR nomos, circa 510 BC, weight 7.93 g and 26 mm diameter, obverse with an eight‑grain barley ear, META downwards to the left and a grasshopper to the right, reverse with an incuse barley ear and a dolphin upwards to the left in linear relief; Noe 104; HN Italy 1472; from an old collection; cabinet tone, no graffito.
