A pair of large plates from 1968 (issued by the Provincial Revolutionary Committee and the Provincial Military District) celebrating the founding of the People's Republic of China. One plate bears the slogan "Long live the invincible Mao Zedong Thought," while the other depicts "Chairman Mao in Beijing" (with the inscription "Wishing Chairman Mao a boundless life") and features calligraphy personally written by Chairman Mao.
