この見事な日本の青銅花瓶は、正晴堂（Seiseido）によって制作され、富山県高岡市の「銅器の竹中」（Dōki no Takenaka）と関連する重要な金属工芸の拠点です。花瓶は大胆な面を持つボディと、長く細い円筒形の頸部を特徴とし、洗練されつつも際立って現代的な佇まいを与えます。
最も印象的な特徴は、豊かな質感の表面処理です。深い黒と濃い茶色のトーンが、鮮やかなターコイズブルーの部分と不規則な金色のハイライトと層になり、雰囲気のある、ほとんど鉱物のような効果を生み出します。パティーナの変化は特に角ばった面全体に表情豊かに現れ、光が色と質感の微妙な変化を浮かび上がらせます。
伝統的な高岡銅器の鋳造とパティーナ技法を現代の幾何学的形態と組み合わせたこの装飾花瓶は、戦後の日本金属工芸の優れた例であり、独立した彫刻作品として美しく展示されます。
