The eye illusion begins at the heart of the crystal. An angular nucleus of concentrated royal blue forms a compelling central focal point, deepening towards midnight blue in some orientations and revealing richer, brighter blue under stronger illumination. Its geometry gives the centre a distinctive character, with clearly readable boundaries in some areas and softer transitions into the surrounding blue.

Around this nucleus, a broad field of blue creates the impression of an iris. Colour moves through deeper blue patches, softer steel blue and luminous pale blue, producing a layered appearance with considerable visual depth.
