Soetsu Nakamura（中村宗雪）による大型夏目・塗蒔絵の茶入れ（Taga-Sode Maki-e Large Natsume） — 元箱・共箱・友布付き
金箔蒔絵の装飾を施した優美な大型夏目。古典的な「田葛袖（タグ・ソデ）」のモチーフを金蒔絵で表現した、黒地に輝く地に花菊と格子文様を金・銀・赤で豊かに配した、袖が垂れるように表現された金箔の着物袖を思わせる意匠。光沢のある黒漆と緻密な黄金の袖デザインの俯瞰的な相互作用は、中村宗雪の伝統蒔絵技法の卓越と、茶の湯の aesthetics（美学）への深い基盤を示している。元箱・共箱の包布・同布付き。
【作家略歴】
中村宗雪（1932年生）は、輪島塗の伝統で知られる石川県出身。1946年に父から九重漆の技法を学び、1967年には中尾宗和より茶の道を学ぶ。1979年には全国漆器展で forestry agency Director-General's Award、1982年には全国漆器展でGovernor's Award、1983年には凝練漆業協同組合賞を受賞。1987年には茶名「宗汐（ソウキョウ）」を賜り、1992年には茶道准教授の称号を授与。1994年には上野陽一より陶芸の指導を受け、1996年には石川県展へ作品が選出。
