アールデコ時代のブックエンドのペア。二頭が座っているドイツ・シェパードを描いた動物彫刻。彫刻は金褐色の patina（ブロンズ風の古色仕上げ）を施した金属製で、黒い大理石の縞模様が緑と白の筋を走らせる長方形の台座の上に載せられている。各部品の寸法は長さ13 cm、幅8 cm、高さ13.5 cm。個々のブックエンドの重量は900 gで、ペア全体の重量は1800 gとなる。セットには目立つ刻印や署名は一切ない。 コンディションについては、対象の背面の一部に粘着による古い修復跡があり、いずれかの台座の下側には固定用ねじが欠損しているほか、いずれかの大理石の台座には小さな欠けがあり、これらの点は写真で直接確認できる。

Les sculptures animalières sont réalisées en métal à patine dorée et brune , et reposent sur des bases rectangulaires en marbre noir veiné de blanc et de vert . Chaque élément présente une longueur de 13 cm , une largeur de 8 cm et une hauteur totale de 13 , 5 cm . Le poids individuel de chaque serre - livre est de 900 g , ce qui représente un poids total de 1800 g pour la paire . Cet ensemble ne porte aucun marquage ni aucune signature visible . Concernant son état de conservation , l'arrière de l'un des sujets a fait l'objet d'une restauration ancienne par collage , une vis de fixation est manquante sous l'un des socles et un petit éclat est présent sur l'un des marbres , ces points restant directement visibles sur les clichés .

Each piece measures 13 cm in length , 8 cm in width and has a total height of 13 , 5 cm . The individual weight of each bookend is 900 g , making a total weight of 1800 g for the pair . This set does not bear any visible markings or signature . Regarding its condition , the back of one of the dogs has undergone an old repair by gluing , one fastening screw is missing from the underside of one base and a small chip is present on one of the marble bases , these details being visible in the photographs .
