高さ: 10 cm | 幅: 15 cm

魅力的で高度に装飾的な中国・漢代の陶器製ニワトリ。丸みのある胴、立ち上がる首、小さな尖ったくちばし、扇形の尾を精緻に成形した、非常に趣のある作品です。翼と尾には刻線で羽毛が描かれ、活発で自然な表情を生み出しています。
表面には元の多色装飾の痕跡が広く残っており、暖かな黄土色、灰色、白、赤褐色の顔料が、魅力的な自然の墓石の被覆の下にまだ見えます。元の彩色表面の保存状態が、この作品に強い考古学的魅力と卓越した視覚的訴求力を与えています。
この像は全体的に非常に良好な状態です。漢代の陶器動物にしばしば見られるように、元の陶製の脚は墳墓で失われています。現在の脚は後世の bronze（銅）製の交換脚で、像を正しく支え展示するように作られています。
この種の陶器動物は mingqi または精霊物として作られ、死者の来世への同行を目的として墳墓に置かれました。鶏は家庭の繁栄・糧食・豊穣を象徴し、漢代の日常生活における家畜の重要性を反映しています。

Founded in 1966 by Jan Simon Becker, Becker Antiques is one of the most respected and established dealers in Asian art in the Netherlands. Our gallery is housed in a stunning five-storey mansion built in 1891, located in Amsterdam’s prestigious Museum Quarter (Oud-Zuid), just minutes from the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, and the renowned Royal Concert Hall, “Koninklijk Concertgebouw.”
For nearly 60 years, we have specialized in high-quality and fully authentic works of art from China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and other classical cultures. Our main areas of expertise include:
