Italian lounge chair in cognac-coloured leather and chrome-plated steel, dating from the 1970s.

A highly distinctive piece, characterised by generous proportions and particularly refined construction. The soft padding, entirely upholstered in leather, creates a deep and inviting seat framed by broad armrests and an enveloping backrest.

Its defining feature is the exposed tubular chrome-plated steel structure, which follows the perimeter of the chair and emphasises its profile through an elegant, continuous design. The contrast between the brightness of the metal and the warm cognac tone of the leather perfectly expresses the language of 1970s Italian design, with clear references to Space Age aesthetics and Mid-Century Modernism.

The soft, almost sculptural forms, combined with the technical and futuristic appearance of the metal structure, make this chair particularly representative of the formal experimentation of the period.
