美しい赤系統の色調を帯びた素晴らしい燧石で成形された lithique の傑作。葉状の輪郭、丁寧な両面面取、細部まで整えられた尖頭部が、新石器時代の職人たちの卓越した技量を物語っています。
マリで発見されたこの石器は、紀元前8000年頃の古新石器時代に属するとされます。槍の先端として、または刃物として使用された可能性があり、このタイプの道具が先史社会でしばしば両方の機能を兼ねていたことを示唆します。
