YOUTHONE is the artistic pseudonym of Portuguese visual artist Adalberto Brito, active in the urban art scene since 1988. He began his practice during the early phase of the development of graffiti culture in Portugal, a formative period that deeply influenced his artistic trajectory and the construction of his visual language. With more than three decades of continuous activity, YOUTHONE has developed a body of work that crosses the energy of street art with contemporary painting practices. His original works, executed entirely by hand, combine painting and mixed media, exploring different visual languages with a strong presence of the human figure, graphic elements and references to urban aesthetics. His work oscillates between figurative compositions and more abstract and experimental approaches, reflecting the influence of street culture, the observation of urban daily life, and the constant search for new visual possibilities. Through the YOUTHONE project, the artist has built an aesthetic identity marked by expressiveness, chromatic intensity, and a dynamic visual approach, positioning his work between contemporary urban art and studio painting.
